Adventures in Volunteering
Tewksbury Connect is currently seeking volunteers to help us carry out our mission of increasing connections among the residents of Tewksbury Township. 

Below are some of the positions we have open, with brief descriptions of what is entailed.  We are still in our start-up phase, and we welcome ideas from all who are interested that aim to foster community and growth.  So, if you can suggest other options, we’re open to suggestions. 
Please take a look, and let us know how you would like to put your skills to use with us. 

Administrative Assistance

  • Basic bookkeeping, largely data entry from e-mail.

  • Acknowledge large donations

Community Outreach Team

  • Support the Director of Community Outreach.

  • Locate resources within the township: places/people to host events, presenters for events, identify other possible volunteers.

  • Develop an ongoing series of information sessions in keeping with our Mission, as well as purely social events.

Director of Development

  • Work with the Fundraising Team to develop and implement a multi-faceted strategy for fundraising.

Fundraising Team

  • Support the Director of Development, implement the elements of the fundraising program, through events, solicitation, and other methods.

Grant Writer

  • Support the Director of Development, research and apply for grants, according to appropriate criteria. 
    (Note: this is a paid position.  Compensation open to negotiation.)
